Why Tenacity Executive Coaching?
Through my lifetime I have developed tenacity—you know that steel-will desire to obtain your goals and arrive at them joyfully? My tenacity journey began for me when I was in college. Working a retail job that paid $3.85 an hour, I worked my way through Temple University and Rutgers Law School as a first-generation college student with almost no family support.
I finished my undergrad degree in four years, literally paying $50 or $60 on my tuition balance every two weeks. I lived under the threat that my classes would be “washed out” due to my unpaid balances. It was harrowing! But I got it done, and managed to graduate on time, cum laude with acceptance to all seven law schools where I applied!
In law school, I won a moot court award for Best Oral Argument arguing for the weaker party on which statute of limitations applied - and one of the judges commented: “You’re quite tenacious.”
Those words and experiences are the reason why I named my business:

My Transformation Story
I have enjoyed success in my career. But at some point, I found myself stuck in a role I had once loved. I felt boxed in. Do you know what it is like to outgrow a position? I was ready for something new. Although I was an accomplished attorney and civic leader, I struggled with uncertainty about my transferable skills and next steps.
Frustrated and floundering, I secured a networking meeting with the vice president of human resources at a prestigious New Jersey college. When we met, the VP of HR asked how he could help me.
I said, tentatively, “Well, I am thinking of making a change.”
In response, the VP said, “Are you thinking about it, or are you committed to it?”
That simple question, which I now know as a powerful coaching conversation, shifted everything for me. I declared my commitment, and my life and career transformed. Within months, I moved into a leadership role as a Director of Employee Relations, discovering my true passion for serving and developing others. From there, I pursued what I believe is my ultimate calling, Tenacity Executive Coaching.
My journey highlights the power of coaching and the willingness to step into possibility. I am beyond excited to support leaders on their path to greater success.

My Coaching Approach:
Leading with Trust. Guided by Empathy. Rooted in Authenticity.
I’m a transformative coach who takes a holistic approach to leadership development. Every engagement goes beyond skills — it’s about uncovering the hidden potential that’s already within you. Together, we build awareness, resilience, and the capacity to lead with clarity, courage, and purpose.
Tenacity (tə·NASS·i·tee) is more than endurance; it’s grace under pressure, courage in transition, and the quiet strength to lead with heart. Over time, my coaching philosophy has distilled into three essential pillars — Trust, Empathy, and Authenticity. Together, they form the foundation for transformational growth and sustainable leadership.
-
Trust /truhst/
Trust begins with you — your instincts, your judgment, and your ability to rise to any occasion, even when the path ahead feels uncertain. It’s also about extending that trust outward — giving your team space to perform, develop, and grow.
When trust is present, leaders stop micromanaging and start empowering. They move from control to collaboration — and that’s where true performance begins.
-
Empathy /EM·puh·thee/)
Empathy is both inward and outward. It means showing yourself grace when you misstep — understanding that leadership is a practice, not perfection. It also means holding space for others and seeing them as people, not just producers.Empathy doesn’t soften leadership; it strengthens it. When leaders understand the human side of performance, they build loyalty, respect, and authentic connection — the kind that fuels lasting results.
-
Authenticity /aw·thuhn·TISS·uh·tee/)
Authenticity is the courage to lead as yourself. It’s not about fitting a mold or performing a role — it’s about aligning who you are with how you lead. When leaders show up with transparency and vulnerability, they give others permission to do the same. Authenticity creates cultures where people feel safe to contribute, innovate, and bring their whole selves to the table. That’s where transformation begins — for individuals, teams, and organizations.
